    Motor assembly variants

    The motors are attached either directly via flange and coupling or via almost backlash-free belt gear. Different attachment versions and gear ratios are available. Attachment type and gear ratio can be changed easily even subsequently.

    i = 1:1 1 - 5
    i = 2:1 1 - 4
    i = 2,5:1 1 - 4
  • Spindelabstützung für profiLINE 200

    profiLINE 200 with spindle support

    The profiLINE 200 spindle axis has been further developed and  - like the profiLINE 140 - equipped with a support that reliably prevents the spindle from swinging open during long strokes and enables a significantly higher traversing speed. This increases the possible stroke to up to 2500 millimetres - while also increasing the range in which positioning can be carried out at maximum travel speed. With the spindle support,  it achieves slightly more than twice the stroke at the same speed compared to a unit without this spindle support - or even three times the speed at the same stroke.

    The plain bearing supporting the spindle can be removed without special tools or loss of position - neither the superstructure, spindle bearing or linear unit need to be removed.

  • Pneumatic locking brake

    Features

    Note: The locking brake serves as a redundant brake and may only be used in addition to a motor brake or other primary brake.

    • holding force of 650 N
    • closed without energy
    • pneumatic opening
    • up to 5 million static clamping cycles
    • up to 500 dynamic braking cycles

    The linear unit with braking element LBPS is designed exclusively for operation with compressed air. It is not suitable for operation with other media. According to EN ISO 13849-1, the integrated braking element is a proven component of control systems. The element can be used in category B or 1 control systems without any further control measures; a test channel must be provided for category 2 control systems. For use in higher control categories, the control must be multi-channel, whereby each channel must implement the safety function on its own.
